A Stage Designer & Creative Director based in London with more than a hundred theatrical productions, marketing campaigns, corporate installations, theatre architecture projects, and consultancies in Hong Kong, China, Singapore & the Philippines for the last 20 years. His experience in the arts encompasses Stage Design, visual merchandising, art direction, digital marketing, multimedia campaigns, luxury branding, and experiential exhibitions.
He graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts majoring in Design and a Certificate in Performance. He also trained in Set Design, Costume Construction, and Digital Animation at the Central St. Martins, University of the Arts London in the United Kingdom; Technical Direction with The Japan Foundation; Lighting with the grandMA Lighting Asia; Digital Marketing from University of Illinois; and UX/UI Design from California Institute of Arts. He is certified in Risk Management and Managing Safely from the IOSH and United Kingdom Theatre Association since July 2018. He is a member of Organisation Internationale des Scénographes, Techniciens et Architectes de Théâtre (OISTAT). He managed the build of three theatres in Hong Kong within 10 years. Design consultancies include Chopard, Cartier, Perrier-Jouët, Fila, and Glendfiddich.
He won a Gawad Buhay! Award (PHILSTAGE) for Hamlet. Recent productions include Dani Girl, The Human Voice, Rabbit Hole, The Nether, Shock Value, Hamlet Redux, Teatro Porvenir, Measure for Measure, The Dressing Room, Fuenteovejuna, Tenors of Rock and Annie. He designed the Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group (ATEG) productions of Disney’s Aida; Piaf; The Addams Family; Shrek; Jersey Boys; Kinky Boots (2017 BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards Best Scenic Design); Angels in America: Millennium Approaches; Beautiful A Carole King Musical; the Asian premiere of Matilda; and the international premieres of The Bridges of Madison County; Fun Home; and The Band's Visit. His design for Fun Home was exhibited in the Professional Set Design category at the World Stage Design 2022 in Calgary, Canada.
He divides his time between London, Manila, and Hong Kong.
