A Stage Designer & Creative Director based in London with more than a hundred theatrical productions, marketing campaigns, corporate installations, theatre architecture projects, and consultancies in Hong Kong, China, Singapore & the Philippines for the last 22 years. His expertise spans stage design, visual merchandising, art direction, digital marketing, multimedia campaigns, luxury branding, and experiential exhibitions.
He studied in the University of the Philippines (UP), Central St. Martins (CSM), and the University of the Arts London (UAL) He is a member of Organisation Internationale des Scénographes, Techniciens et Architectes de Théâtre (OISTAT). Over a decade, he oversaw the construction of three theatres in Hong Kong. His design consultancy work includes collaborations with Chopard, Cartier, Perrier-Jouët, Fila, and Glenfiddich.
He won a Gawad Buhay! Award (PHILSTAGE) for Hamlet. His recent productions include Dani Girl, The Human Voice, Rabbit Hole, The Nether, Shock Value, Hamlet Redux, Teatro Porvenir, Measure for Measure, The Dressing Room, Fuenteovejuna, Tenors of Rock, and Annie. As a designer for Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group (ATEG), he worked on productions such as Disney’s Aida, Piaf, The Addams Family, Shrek, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots (2017 BroadwayWorld Philippines Award for Best Scenic Design), Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and the Asian premiere of Matilda. He also designed the international premieres of The Bridges of Madison County, Fun Home, and The Band’s Visit. His set design for Fun Home was exhibited in the Professional Set Design category at World Stage Design 2022 in Calgary, Canada.
He splits his time between London, Manila, and Hong Kong..
